We’ve been thinking about how the Lord provides this week.

It reminds us of the 1970s church song “Jehovah Jireh – my provider”.

Jehovah Jireh (Gen 22) can also be translated as “The Lord who sees” or “The Lord will see to it”.

A Creator who sees and provides accordingly.

Here is how we have seen God provide for us this month,

For Prayer:

  • For wisdom in the decision making that is part of church, family and life
  • Thanks for Ariel’s small physical improvements
  • For our marriage and the marriages around us to continue to be strengthened by the God who sees and provides
  • Thanks that God is a provider

Jehovah Jireh,

My provider,

His grace is sufficient for me, for me, for me

Jehovah Jireh

My provider

His grace is sufficient for me

My God shall provide all my needs

According to his riches in glory

He gives his angels charge over me

Jehovah Jireh cares

For me, for me, for me

Jehovah Jireh

cares for me”

(Thank you to all the acoustic guitar players in my past who helped put this song in my head)
