Roger Bannister

The end of last week was really encouraging…

When Ariel was concentrating (and not chatting with his physio) he walked around our house with crutches in less than 4 minutes.

He looked as happy as Roger Bannister (the first athlete to run a mile less than 4 minutes in 1954).

This week has been slower…

More antibiotics and a head cold has meant slow days, bad sleep and high pain.

We are conscious that God is bringing many carers into our house who see our faith in action.

This is a challenge when we are “raw” and feeling weighed down!

Please pray that in our weakness, God’s grace will be obvious to those who visit us

(especially before 7am in the morning and after 8pm at night)!

Please pray for the children who all have head colds and are tired.

Please pray for me to adapt to a life with little privacy.

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you,

for my power is perfect in weakness.

Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses,

so that Christ’s power may rest on me”
