Life, oh life

It’s hard to believe that 8 years ago on a road in Kuring Gai Chase National Park, our lives would see so much change. We still wonder why quadriplegia is part of our story, but we do not doubt the goodness of God. So last night, we celebrated “Life” again. Life on earth. Life in Christ. Life everlasting.

And we choose to see “life” in our cat who gives us much joy…

And we choose to see “life” in nature which brings us much joy…

And we thank thoughtful friends and family who gave these life affirming gifts 8 years ago when we were so immersed in the uncertainties of spinal injury…

And we see “life” in these guys, who shared in every hardship of 2012 & beyond…

But…

Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. ” John 1:3-5

Life in Jesus is brighter and bigger than life with quadriplegia.

For those who pray:

Thank God for progress in the organisation of the transfer of Ariel’s mother, Sophie to Bega

Thank God for the provision of part time work for Ariel and me.

Thank God for life, while it is difficult on many days, it is as bright as the Son.

Thank God for life in our family.

Pray for Ariel’s endurance through pain and dependency on others for simple tasks.
