….country roads, take me home

Our Family arriving at Strathfield, Sydney in February 2012..

Our family on our last days in Sydney visiting Ariel’s mum December 2018…

……We moved to the country on the 15th January.

But we are in the middle of a huge transition time after our finishing our 7 years in Sydney at WSCCC.

Removal trucks outside our backyard in Croydon…

our new backyard in Bega….

There has been a lot for Ariel to do with organising new health services, modifications to the house and attempting to balance exercise with physical rest.

The kids have had a lot to do with adapting to a new school, new friends and to country life.

But I have loved driving past this old sign in Bega which used to be the movie cinema…

No matter where we live, we are part of God’s Kingdom; and we are grateful that despite all of this change, our God is unchanging and sustains us in this life of faith, family, spinal injury and imperfection.

James 1:17

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights who does not change like shifting shadows. He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of first fruits of all he created”

For those who pray:

Thank God for our church friends in Sydney who packed most of our house and for our church friends in Bega who helped unpack and clean our new house.

Thank God for safe travels despite complicated moving plans

Thank God for new doctors, nurses, carers and allied health

Pray for Ariel to pace his busyness and rest in the right amounts

Pray for all of us to look to God and be at peace as we settle into a new life and have some respite

Much love

Kirsty
