In with the New

This is the Rehabilitation unit where Ariel stayed for 6 months in 2012!

Many of you visited him where there is now no roof!

….and 500m down the hill is the new Royal Rehab Ryde where Ariel returns to see his Specialist a few times a year. We recently visited as a family & were grateful for some helpful decisions re: medications – and the kids appreciated the comfy lounges and new cafe’s milkshakes.

We also visited the new-ish Canberra hospital to visit Great Grandad a regal 95 year old – 3 hours drive, 3 hours visit and 3 hours drive back in one day!

A train adventure into the city in the school holidays – new smiles from the older 2!

For those who pray:

That the medication changes this month will prove to be helpful with spasticity and spasms.

For Kirsty’s Grandad who is now home from hospital.

For the kids who have had a fabulously loud week with their 4 cousins staying at our house – that there will be some rest and good sleep before school starts on Wednesday. That they will cope with the changes in the new school year. (Luka will have 2 days/week of preschool this year).

Thank God for some nice holiday memories and surviving the heartache of “changed” Summers.

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases,

His mercies never come to and end,

They are new every morning,

Great is your faithfulness O Lord.”

Lamentations 3:22-23
