Easter

What a great time of year as we remember the risen Christ!

It has been lovely to be together as a family for 4 days in a row (2 at hospital and 2 day leave at home).

ARIEL

Ariel used his walking frame at home this weekend and was able to sit on our lounge for the first time on Easter Saturday.

It was slow and required supervision but the kids love being able to sit next to him!

The Physio team have been training him for walking on uneven ground by walking him outside to the coffee cart at the hospital.

It is slow and exhausting but good coffee is a good incentive 🙂

FAMILY

Ariel’s father is in hospital for stent surgery and investigations for his heart.

Ariel has helped with translation and visits to doctors in the past and is an only child – so it is a grief for him to be unavailable to help his parents at this time.

He also misses being at church with his church family at Easter.

HOME

The kids toddle along with both heartache and bravado and have enjoyed seeing their cousins today.

They are so excited to see their Dad visit home that they are a joyful “hazard” when they jump around him & the frame!

An Occupational Therapist and Project manager will visit this week regarding modifications.

FOR PRAYER:

Please: For Peter and Sophie (Ariel’s parents) care & our wisdom in choosing a nursing agency to help us when Ari comes home

Thanks: For progress, family time, kind friends and helpful health system.

Sorry: For our many imperfections

Adoration: for the grace that cleanses us in Christ Jesus

“He made the One that did know know sin to be sin for us,

so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him”      2 Corinthians 6:21b

“Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift”         2 Corinthians 9:15
