Dear all,
Ariel was feeling down’ish today. However, it was exciting to see him operate the touch screen of his iPhone for the first time! He could just move his knuckle enough to do it.
Kirsty looked tired after a rough night’s sleep. Please pray the kids would sleep soundly – esp. that the Lord would give them a sense of security and peace in their hearts.
Grace and peace, Mark
From Ariel
‘Thank you so much for your prayers and your generosity and your care for us as a family.
Each day is an adventure but a struggle. A high is spending time on the gym for about an hour and a half. I like it because I get to feel my body working again. Getting some movement in my muscles is great, even if it feels and looks like Medieval torture (see photos below).
A low? Missing my family. Not being able to be with them 24/7. Another thing is not getting any private time – there are always interruptions here. But…
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. (Rom 8:18 NIV)
Thanks so much once again for your kindnesses.
In Christ, Ariel’
Photos from the Gym
‘These are new physio photos which show how hard Ariel is being worked out in the rehab gym each day. One shows his upper arm stretches and the other balanced sitting practice.’ Kirsty
