We are pleased to say that after a very big week of driving and with the help of Ariel’s aunt, we have been able to move Ariel’s mum Sophie to the nursing home in Bega.
Sophie (in red) outside her aged care in Ashfield with her sister…
Sophie enjoying sticky date pudding in her new room in Bega aged care… She has been delighted to see Ariel, myself and the kids more often but will miss her sister a lot. We are thankful that for now she still remembers our faces and names and has a sense of humour on her good days.
We also pleased that when we have very big weeks here, we can go for very short drives to enjoy places like this after school and on weekends with our “little women” and man…
For those who pray…
Please thank God for safe travel for Kirsty driving to Sydney and back in 2 1/2 days to pick up Ariel’s mum. Thank Him for Sophie’s peacefulness during the long trip and pray for her to settle.
Thank God for those who have prayed for such a long time for Sophie and her move here.
Thank God for our ongoing part time work (Kirsty as a Physiotherapist at the hospital and Ariel in IT administration from home)- pray for us to manage family life, juggling disability with work & school
Pray that as we near the end of a challenging year, we will be witnesses of God’s grace in whatever circumstance…
