We’ve always liked the idea of American Thanksgiving – that there is a day of the year when you thank God for the good things in life.
So, 5 years since Ariel’s accident, we have had our own thanksgiving and continued to choose to celebrate “life” and be thankful that he survived.
After dinner on the 7th September, we ate “Thank you” pie and prayed thank you prayers for Ariel.
Thank God for 5 more years of Ariel
Thank God for a Sports Physician’s treatment of Ariel’s hip muscles
For ongoing strength to care for many around us, including Ariel’s mum
For patience for all of us on tiring days
“For God so loved the world that he gave His only son,
That whoever believes in Him shall not die but have ETERNAL life”
Our greatest thanks goes to our God of eternal life, which gives our days on earth perspective
