From the white house to the lodge

Ariel said good bye to the Royal Rehab Centre at Ryde today.

There have been so many memories after 6 months.

It was hard to farewell staff who have been so very kind and helped with huge milestones like walking for the first time and wading through rivers of paperwork!

We had a pizza party on Saturday with the family and cousins to say goodbye.

Today Ariel moved to Ferguson Lodge in Lidcombe!

It is a care facility specialising in spinal patient care and Ariel will stay there while our house is being modified.

10 College St Lidcombe Phone: 02 96463711.

For anyone who drives, it is located within the “Botanica” residential housing development.

Ariel has a new team of Allied Health carers who will visit him on site.

Please pray for him to be able to rest despite regular spasms that cause his muscles to tighten.

There are new relationships to establish and old ones to maintain.

Our whole family is still learning how to be flexible and gracious with change.

We travelled well today but have a little “jet lag” tonight 🙂

More change but…

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights,

who does not change like shifting shadows… James 1:17
