I briefly visited Ariel tonight. He continues to be in good spirits, and is working hard at being an encouragement to the nurses and surrounding patients. Kirsty visits him daily, and spends most of the day with Ariel. He understands a lot of people are praying for him and his family, and he is very grateful for this.
It’s still very early days yet, but there are small positive signs with regards to his nervous system. Ariel is able to make some slight movements and twitching indicating his brain is learning to re-communicate with his body.
However, Ariel has unfortunately picked up an infection, and so has a slight fever as a result, which makes him uncomfortable. Furthermore he is also experiencing bloating, which makes it difficult to breathe and adds to his discomfort. Ariel requests that you might pray for these two things in particular.
