Life in the not-so-fast lane

Ariel is generally sleeping much better and that is a great gift.

Life is busy and yet very slow.

Ariel is usually ready for the day at 10 am and in bed by 7pm each night.

He continues to practise many daily tasks at home which take a LONG time as do daily rehab appointments.

It was a thrill to see him slowly flip bible pages to find the passage he was reading to the family tonight!!

Walking with crutches has improved but still very slow so the wheelchair is still a best buddy.

For those who pray:

Thanks for some small improvements in walking balance and finger function.

Thanks for the super cooks of our super church who put a treasure like the above photo in a fridge/freezer at church every Sunday!

(I carried 7 bags of food/gifts/hand me downs for the kids as I left church last week!).

Thanks for the genuinely encouraging public and private prayers for our family.

It is a great honour to see the compassion of Christ shown to us in many unexpected acts of kindness.

Matthew 9:36

“When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them,

because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.”
