Financial Help

Dear all,

I just saw Ariel and was impressed with how he is looking. He has sufficient movement in his arm to operate an electric wheelchair and get around the ward. He is improving physically. Of course he finds the pace of improvement frustrating and knows this is only the beginning of a long rehabilitation process.

A number of you have asked about helping out the Kurilowiczs financially. This would be a great help to them as in a matter of days their income will be reduced to any Centrelink benefits they are eligible for. For those of you from WSCCC, you are already aware there will be a special offering ‘love gift’ on Sunday Oct 21 that will go directly to the Kurilowicz family.

For those who have inquired from elsewhere (or for those from WSCCC who prefer electronic banking), download their bank details here.

Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.
Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. (Rom 12:10-13 NIV)

Here isĀ  the noticeboard beside Ariel’s bed – verses to memorise, artwork from the kids, photos…

Kirsty has sent through another photo also. This is from another Physio session – ‘This is the tilt table which stands patients upright. This allows for a better view of the Harbour Bridge from the Rehab windows! KK.’

Grace and peace, Mark
